Pastor Kevin Kirby

Kevin Kirby was sent by the Evangelical Free Church to start a church in Golden. After considerable prayer and encouragement, the Kirbys began planning, training, fundraising, and the licensing process in January of 2001. MVC worship services began in April 2001, and God has continued to pave the way for the church’s ministry to the community and to those that attend.

As pastor of Mesa View Church, Kevin has more than 20 years of pastoral ministry and has a Masters of Divinity degree from Denver Seminary. Kevin also graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies.

Kevin grew up in the Golden/Coal Creek Canyon area and attended Golden Junior High.

He served at Bear Valley Church in Lakewood for many years as an Associate Pastor and began his ministry at Kittredge Community Church.

Kevin also volunteers at the Golden Fire Department as their chaplain and as a firefighter.

[singlepic id=60 w=160 h=120 float=left]Cynthia, Kevin’s wife, has worked in business administration, marketing and graphic design for more than 15 years. She has a Master of Arts degree from Denver Seminary (where they met) and a marketing degree from Baylor University.

Kevin and Cyndi have been married 19 years. They enjoy parenting their smart and athletic son, Parker, and watching his soccer, baseball, and basketball games. They also enjoy hiking with their very large Saint Bernard and Newfoundland.
